TReDS Buyer Registration and Onboarding for Corporates and CPSEs

Invoicemart is an RBI-regulated TReDS platform, jointly developed by Axis Bank and mjunction services. It connects large buyers, MSME suppliers, and regulated financiers within a single digital ecosystem, enabling structured receivables financing without requiring you to shorten the originally agreed payment period, while supporting integration with existing procurement and finance approval workflows.

If your organisation is a company registered under the Companies Act, 2013 with turnover of more than ₹250 crore, or is an operating CPSE covered by the applicable TReDS requirements, Invoicemart provides the infrastructure to complete buyer onboarding and activate MSME invoice settlement and discounting workflows.

Why Corporate Buyers Register on TReDS

Delayed payments to MSME suppliers are not just a supplier problem. When vendor cash flows are under sustained pressure, procurement reliability deteriorates, supplier attrition increases, and your supply chain absorbs hidden costs that never appear as a line item.

TReDS resolves this structurally.

As a vendor early payment solution, Invoicemart enables your MSME suppliers to receive financing against accepted invoices, without requiring you to accelerate payment. You continue settling with the financier on the original invoice due date. Your payment cycle stays intact. Eligible suppliers can receive funds within 24 hours, or on T+1, following best bid acceptance and settlement processing.

MSME suppliers can also complete seller onboarding on TReDS to upload invoices, access competitive financier bids and receive early payment against accepted receivables. Learn more about TReDS registration for MSME sellers.

No new credit facility is required from the buyer. No change to your existing commercial payment terms. The buyer's settlement obligation simply transfers from the supplier to the financier, on the same due date that was already agreed.

Regulatory Framework for Corporate Buyers

Two categories of organisations are currently subject to mandatory TReDS participation:

Mandatory

Companies Over ₹250 Cr Turnover

Companies with annual turnover exceeding Rs. 250 crore are required to register on an RBI-authorised TReDS platform under the Gazette Notification (S.O. 4845E) dated November 2024.

Mandatory

All Central Public Sector Enterprises

All Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) are mandated to route MSME vendor payments through TReDS under the Ministry of MSME notification S.O. 3507(E).

Beyond mandatory compliance, organisations across manufacturing, infrastructure, automotive, pharmaceuticals, logistics, and retail are onboarding as part of broader supply chain finance initiatives, driven by vendor ecosystem resilience, procurement efficiency, and finance digitisation objectives.

ERP Integration and Vendor Payment Workflows

For enterprise buyers, operational continuity is a primary consideration in platform adoption.

Invoicemart supports ERP integration for vendor payments through API and Host-to-host connectivity with existing enterprise finance and procurement systems. The platform is designed to complement, not replace, your internal infrastructure.

This enables organisations to streamline vendor invoice approval through structured digital acceptance workflows that align with existing enterprise governance environments.

  • Digital acceptance management
  • Reconciliation visibility
  • Settlement tracking
  • Workflow transparency

Supply Chain Finance for Corporate Ecosystems in India

Invoicemart operates as a regulated supply chain finance platform, connecting enterprise buyers with their MSME supply chains through a structured receivables financing ecosystem. For organisations evaluating supply chain finance, the platform delivers:

  • Structured supplier financing access across your vendor base
  • Competitive financier participation through a bidding-based model
  • Digital invoice processing with integrated approval workflows
  • Customised reconciliation reporting and settlement visibility
  • Scalable participation designed for diverse industry ecosystems

Supplier financial stress quietly becomes a procurement reliability concern. Invoicemart addresses this at the structural level through a regulated framework backed by RBI authorisation and competitive financier participation.
